Home Team Changes

Home Team Changes As some of you may already know, there have been a few changes here at TIMBER/WEST. The biggest one has been the addition of James Booth as our new sales representative.

James is proving to be a valuable asset to TIMBER/WEST. His knowledge of the industry, personal integrity and skills as a sales rep, make him the perfect addition and we’re excited to have him aboard. He comes with nearly 20 years of industry experience, most recently as an Advertising Sales Representative for the Pacific Northwest Forest Directory. James’ background, however, involves more than logging and sales. In his previous life, he played professional hockey in Canada.

Another big change has been Sheila Ringdahl’s new role as publisher. Until now, she’s worked behind the scenes laying out the magazine, creating advertisements and handling administrative duties. Her leadership skills and dedication to the magazine make her the perfect captain. With Sheila taking on the responsibilities of publisher, Brenda Kohlmyer is our new business manager. She has already made her mark, working to create more efficient processes and helping to make this year’s Buyer’s Guide more accurate and comprehensive than it’s ever been.

And lastly, we said goodbye this Spring to Don Pravitz. We wish him the best on his new adventures. The changes here have revitalized us as a team and we’re excited about the future and about making TIMBER/WEST far and away the best magazine in the industry.
