Maskinen held an open house at its facility in Saint-Nicolas, Quebec in August to mark the company’s 5th anniversary, but the event also served as an occasion to unveil the all-new 688G 8-wheeled harvester from Swedish manufacturer Eco Log.

More than a simple update of the previous generation model, the 688F, the new G-series harvester benefits from numerous improvements, including a completely redesigned hydraulic system and driveline with selective drive modes and boost function, a stronger and more powerful crane, a smarter dynamic tilt frame lock system, significantly increased tilt angles and an all-new, cutting-edge cabin offering superior comfort and visibility, says the company.

The unveiling took place in the presence of the new owners of the very first Eco Log 688G imported to Canada.

Specializing in high-end forestry equipment, Maskinen provides state-of-the-art solutions for industry professionals. Headquartered in Saint-Nicolas, the company offers new and used forestry equipment selected for its performance, durability, and reliability in the field.
