Diamond Mowers Offers DC Pro Drum Mulcher

by | Dec 18, 2023 | Supplier Newsline

DiamondDiamond Mowers is offering the DC Pro drum mulcher for a new level of mulching performance for loaders up to 75 hp. It is the latest addition to the company’s lineup of land clearing and vegetation management attachments.

The DC Pro is engineered with a 50-inch cutting width to slice through trees and brush and mulch material up to 8 inches in diameter. It boasts fast spool-up times and class-leading productivity. Built on Diamond’s proven Excavator Drum Mulcher platform, it is optimized for use with skid-steers and compact track loaders.

The DC Pro drum mulcher is designed to be an additional resource for a wide range of users. It is differentiated by its lighter weight of just 1,350 pounds and its 63 CC, two-speed, bent-axis piston motor. Larger than others in its class, this high-torque hydraulic motor allows the DC Pro to spool-up faster and deliver greater force to power through more and larger material.

It is “more productive than other options in its class based on processing capacity and speed,” said Dan Stachel, executive vice president of Diamond Mowers. Its lighter weight makes it versatile and suitable for a variety of land maintenance tasks, such as managing overgrowth, maintaining fence lines, and creating defensible space. “The streamlined profile also affords good operator visibility and maneuverability, while the chassis positions the center of gravity close to the loader for optimal stability – even on steep slopes.”
