Hallco Names President, General Manager

Hallco Industries Inc., based out of Tillamook, Ore., has named Russ Halvorsen President and General Manager.

Under Halvorsen's guidance and leadership, the company plans to focus efforts on new product development in the conveyor industry.

Christian Pape Moves Up

Christian Pape has been named manager of corporate development and external affairs for The Pape Group Inc. in Eugene, Ore. In his new role, he will work closely with both the marketing and human resource departments to enhance external relationships for the Pape organization with a variety of constituents, including customers, community leaders, employee team members, and potential members.

Most recently, Pape was a territory manager at Papé Machinery in Mount Vernon, Wash., a position he held for four years. He has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience with The Pape Group and Pape Machinery.

Kenworth Receives Green Washington Award

Kenworth Truck Company was honored with the 2009 Green Washington manufacturing award from Seattle Business magazine during a special awards banquet Wednesday night in Seattle.

Kenworth received recognition for its T270 and T370 diesel-electric hybrid trucks, T800 liquefied natural gas (LNG) vehicles, and award-winning efforts by its manufacturing plant in Renton, Wash., to build trucks in an environmentally sustainable manner.

"Kenworth is pleased to receive the Green Washington manufacturing award in recognition of our extensive environmental efforts," said Bill Kozek, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice president. "Kenworth continues to lead the trucking industry by providing practical technologies that help customers enhance fuel economy and reduce emissions. We now have over 500 hybrid and LNG trucks operating in the marketplace."

New Western Sales Manager for Hyva

Hyva Group has appointed Mr. Robert (Bob) Voss as Western Sales Manager for Hyva Corporation in the USA.

Voss has built a successful career in sales management and marketing with original equipment and aftermarket manufacturing and distribution organizations in the commercial vehicle component and equipment industry.

His increasingly responsible experience has been developed with leading companies such as Reyco-Granning (suspension systems), Hayes Lemmerz (wheels, brake drums, hubs), Watson & Chalin (lift axles and suspension systems), and Utility Trailer Manufacturing (semi-trailers and aftermarket parts).

Deere Names Hecht

Audrey Hecht has been named Manager of Marketing Communications, Events, and Promotions for John Deere Construction & Forestry.

Audrey will lead advertising, brand management, press relations, direct marketing, and Web presence for the Construction & Forestry Division. She will also drive the Division's Industrial Design Council and continued globalization of the marketing communications function.

Shannon Appointed VP of Finance and CFO for Volvo

Patrick Shannon, Vice President of Construction Equipment Finance for Volvo Financial Services North America in Greensboro, North Carolina, has been appointed Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Volvo Construction Equipment North America, Asheville, North Carolina. Shannon's appointment was effective September 1, 2009.

Tiffen Parts Assigns New Sales Representatives

TIFFIN PARTS LLC has announced that DRW Marketing will be their assigned sales representative in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Alaska for the Construction, Forestry and Engine Parts markets.

Mark Knight, President of TIFFIN PARTS, stated that "Adding highly qualified sales representation like DRW Marketing to help serve our customers in the field is the next step in elevating our best in class status as the premier supplier of high quality replacement parts for heavy equipment and industrial engines."

Having over 300,000 blueprints on file will enable TIFFIN to rebuild and manufacture virtually any part for a specific piece of equipment.
