Fecon has recently updated its web site by adding a Dealership locator tool. This new functionality allows viewers to search for attachments, tractors, rental or any, within 10 to 250 miles from a desired zip code. The results are displayed on a map which shows locations of dealers who meet entered criteria, along with their contact information.
A “contact this dealer” button allows users to quickly communicate their needs to Signature dealerships. This intuitive functionality allows customers to quickly find the nearest Fecon equipment, parts and service facility, whether they are in the shop or at a remote jobsite. It can be viewed at
Morbark announced the appointment of Bradley (Brad) Boehler as the successor to current Vice President of Alamo Group’s Forestry and Tree Care Business Unit and President of Morbark Holdings, Dave Herr, effective August 24, 2020.
Herr joined Morbark initially as a board director and then as its CEO in October 2016. He successfully led the Company through a period of intense growth, operational improvement, acquisition, and integration of complementary businesses, including Rayco Manufacturing, LLC, and Denis Cimaf, Inc., and finally, the transfer of ownership to Alamo Group in 2019.
Before joining Alamo Group, Boehler was President of the Skyjack Group, a major Canadian manufacturer of aerial lift equipment, including scissor lifts and telehandlers. During his sixteen years at Skyjack, he led the Company through a period of very high growth and performance improvement. Before joining Skyjack, he worked for seven years at Tigercat International Inc.,
Boise Cascade Company announced that it has completed the purchase of a new property with building structures in Gallatin, TN.
“The acquisition of this new facility will allow us to expand our operations in the Nashville market, one of the strongest housing growth markets in the U.S.,” said Jeff Strom, vice president and Building Materials Distribution (BMD) general manager of Eastern Operations.
The 13-acre facility currently has 183,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space. The Company plans to start construction and site improvements immediately, with a goal to begin operations in the new facility in Q2 2021. The current facility will remain open during the transition. The property was previously home to Fowler Lumber Company, an Appalachian hardwood producer.
