Wood-Mizer introduces the LX150 twin rail sawmill designed for hobbyists and professionals looking for a robust, portable sawmill with powered sawhead controls and a large 35.5” width of cut ideal for sawing wide, live-edge slabs. As the second LX series sawmill offered by Wood-Mizer in North America, the LX150 joins Wood-Mizer’s world-leading range of portable sawmills.

A key innovation of the Wood-Mizer LX sawmill series includes the rigid LX Frame sawhead tower that holds the control panel, engine, and the sawmill head. Designed to accommodate a larger width and depth of cut, the LX Frame travels on twin parallel hardened-steel rails on the bed and allows the operator to have better visibility while sawing.

Fecon Introduces the FTX300Kinedyne’s Ergonomically Advanced EASE-Z Winch Bars

Kinedyne LLC, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of cargo control technologies, including cargo securement, capacity, and access solutions for the transportation industry, announced the formal introduction of its new EASE-Z Winch Bar family. The EASE-Z Winch Bar is a patented Z-shaped winch bar that rotates 360 degrees, providing users with greater leverage. The bar comes in one standard model and two combination versions that have modified handles that can be used to release tension on chain binders.

The EASE-Z Winch Bar is different. The tough, heat-treated carbon-steel, mushroom-shaped head of the EASE-Z Winch Bar is tapered for easy insertion and helps keep the bar seated in the winch cap. This prevents it from slipping out during revolution and when the user is applying torque. A knurled non-slip handle with a flanged grip ring on the bar’s upper shaft helps prevent it from slipping out of users’ hands even in wet conditions. www.kinedyne.com
