On May 9, the Forest Resources Association’s Board of Directors elected Tom Reed, Vice President of Resources in Plum Creek’s Atlantic South region, to serve as the association’s Chairman for the coming two years. Accepting the chairmanship, Reed thanked his predecessor, Tom Norris, for his strong leadership during the past two years, which saw the 80-year-old association hire a new president, improve its financial position, reform its dues structure, grow its political activism, and move its national headquarters to downtown Washington, D.C. Titan Machinery to Distribute RWF BRON Titan Machinery has been awarded the exclusive distributorship of RWF BRON forestry mulchers in the United States. BRON is a manufacturer of 275HP to 700HP mulchers used in a variety of forestry and ground-clearing applications. The newly announced partnership assigns sales, parts, and service responsibility for the complete BRON Mulcher line in the U.S. to Titan Machinery. “BRON is a great addition to our existing product lines,” said Chuck Dull, VP of Construction Equipment – Titan Machinery. “It’s a complementary product line to our Seppi mulching attachments. Having the BRON carrier to go with the Seppi product line is a natural fit and we’re excited to offer our customers proven, integrated land-clearing solutions.”
Terex Construction Americas appointed Jamie Wright as the new regional sales manager in the northwestern U.S. region for Terex® Fuchs material handling equipment. In this role, Wright will have sales and distributor development responsibilities for the expansive line of Terex Fuchs purpose-built material handlers for the scrap, recycling, forestry and port markets in a territory that includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
