Fecon® Inc. Announces Komatsu Equipment Company as Dealer

Fecon® proudly announces Komatsu Equipment Company as a stocking dealer and service parts provider in Utah, Wyoming, and much of Nevada.

Komatsu Equipment Co. is stocking BH80EXC Mulchers mounted on Komatsu PC200 Excavators, FTX100LGP Tracked Carriers, BH74SSV Skid Steer Mulchers, FBS 1500 Bunching Tree Shears, and the Rotating Front Grapple for Skid Steers as well as teeth and parts to support the attachments and machines. They have also added machines and attachments to their rental fleet.

Southwest Bobcat to Provide Bandit Parts and Service in California and Nevada

Bandit Industries has partnered with Southwest Bobcat to provide Bandit parts and service support at all five Southwest Bobcat locations throughout Southern California and Nevada. In addition, Southwest Bobcat will also stock and sell Zenith knives and Bandit Revolution® stump grinding wheels/teeth for most chipper and stump grinder makes and models.

Bandit Tree Care Products of Southern California will continue to handle new Bandit equipment sales. Both companies will work together to ensure that the needs of Bandit customers and tree service professionals are met throughout the Southwest.

Potlatch Names Eric J. Cremers President & COO

Potlatch Corporation announced that Eric J. Cremers has been named President and Chief Operating Officer and was elected to the board of directors, effective March 1.

Cremers will be responsible for leading the company’s business operations, including timberland management, wood manufacturing and sales, real estate, and human resources. He will continue to serve as chief financial officer and lead investor relations activities while a search for his successor is conducted.

The California Redwood Company Hires Ray Barbee

The California Redwood Company (CRC) announced that it has hired Ray Barbee as its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Barbee, an industry sales and marketing professional with 35 years of experience, will oversee all of California Redwood Company’s lumber sales and marketing efforts.

Barbee’s career started in 1978 in a sales position with Boise Cascade. He worked his way up the company over the next 19 years, leaving the company as Corporate Officer, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for white paper, market pulp, and paper distribution. At Roseburg Forest Products, he oversaw multiple five-year strategic plans to grow the company, led a successful rebranding effort, and launched a new product line aimed at the emerging green consumer market. Most recently, Barbee was Senior Vice President and General Manager for RISI’s wood, timber, and bio-energy division.
