A little rain
didn't stop over 13,000 folks from attending the annual
Deming Log Show held in Deming, Wash. This was the show's
39th year. It was started up in 1963 to raise funds for
loggers who were hurt in the woods. At that first show
there was only 8 events. Today the popular twoday logging
show has over 30 events - from ax throwing to hot chain
saw bucking. People can view state-of-the-art machinery
displayed in exhibits are set up around the grounds and a
BBQ is held in the evening for those with even the biggest
appetites.
